Fret Levels: All the Same?

It's fun to get a variety of  instruments in - sometimes they're very different but have similar needs.  The Epiphone Broadway is a fine instrument owned by a local collector and player. The little red guitar belongs to a member of the Mariachi Lopez and is intended for the next generation of players - that made it special for them and me. Both guitars needed some fret work, and both will make the instruments sound and play better. So are they the same?
