Blueridge Setup

Picture
These photos are simply not dramatic! But that is often a good thing in the guitar repair business. The owner of this new Blueridge thought it was a bit stiff, though he also knew that it was an excellent guitar. I've set up a couple of Blueridge instruments before and they are great sounding and surprisingly well set up straight out of the factory. Often factory set ups are set rather high - they don't know how you play and so they go the safe route. That makes sense to me. I tweaked this in three different ways and was able to get some of the "stiffness" out of the instrument. It started out nice and will only get better with age.
